Let us help you learn and practice wellness strategies

Living Life to the Full

Do simple things to feel happier, develop skills and tools to reduce stress, boost your mood and stop feeling low. The course introduces techniques that help you deal better with negative thinking and make it through life transitions (going to university). The course is a general mental health promotion course, focusing on resilience and giving individual skills and knowledge using CBT principles, and not about addressing mental health issues such as depression.

LIVING LIFE TO THE FULL course offered to MtA Students for FREE. Delivered by MtA Alumni Lauren Whiteway with the CMHA in collaboration with MtA Navigate Student Wellness Program & Mental Health Outreach Coordinator Maggie Brewer.

The course is meant to change your life but not save it.  This will be a 6-week course offered on Wednesday evenings.

Seeds of Change

Bystander Intervention training has been proven to be a successful tool in helping to raise awareness about sexual violence on campus and encourage individuals to feel confident intervening when possible. While most prevention programming is aimed toward individuals learning how to protect themselves from violence, these workshops veer away from victim blaming attitudes and seek to empower communities to make change in their own lives, perpetuating a culture of violence-intolerance.
